Why Docktower?
Named for the landmark at our heart
The Grimsby Dock Tower is one of the most recognisable structures in North East Lincolnshire — a Victorian Italianate tower that has stood at the heart of the community since 1852.
We chose the name Docktower because it represents exactly what we're about: something rooted in this place, built for this community, and visible from every angle. Just like a good local directory should be.
Our coverage area radiates 10 miles from that tower — a deliberate boundary that keeps Deeto focused, relevant, and genuinely local.

Why we built Deeto
Local business directories had become generic — national platforms with no sense of place, full of businesses from everywhere and nowhere. Local businesses were getting lost, and local customers had no reliable way to find what was on their doorstep.
We built Deeto to solve that. A directory that knows exactly where it is, who it serves, and what its community needs. One that gives businesses real tools — not just a static listing, but coupons, events, reviews, geolocation, and a mobile app.
